Isolation DIY – Clean, Repair, Paint, Repeat
Well, it’s definitely been time for getting on with the infinite list of jobs that we seem to add to every day. You can see below what we are able to achieve when pub / restaurant time is reduced to a big fat zero.
As with a number of Do It Yourself jobs the results are only really noticed by the people that have done them as they are repairing / updating to a state that most would expect as the norm and you don’t realise how bad things had gotten when you see them everyday. That’s certainly the case here and only by looking at the before and after can we appreciate how much better it looks (ie how terrible it looked originally)
The painting was the easy bit. Getting rid of 20 years of neglect was the really painful process (especially in the rotator cuff) when you don’t have a pressure washer but resort to every cleaning product under the sink and a lot of worn out scourers and brushes. However, it is certainly worthwhile – check out the pics below
